Open Studio Membership Details
All studio members may use any of the communal equipment located in the main studio, which include:
- 6 Clay Boss electric wheels
- Wedging table
- Ware boards, plastic wrapping, bats, water buckets and tools, giffen-grips
- A variety food safe glazes, under-glazes and slips
It is recommended that members have previous experience or have taken a class before joining the open studio. If you are interested in membership, you can come for a personal tour. We will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
Members at Cone Five Pottery are very respectful of other members’ time and work. You will have the option to work independently, uninterrupted, or to share techniques on throwing, hand building and glazing with other members. This is a very clean and organized studio! All members do their part to maintain the space.
Periodic Workshops are offered exclusively to studio members introducing them to new techniques and ideas, helping to push past plateaus and feed the creative experience.
Membership Options
Basic Membership rate: $70.00 per month
Utilize the studio during open studio hours
24-hour membership rate: $100.00 per month
Full access to the studio anytime you’d like (Only offered to studio members who have been members for 6 months)
You will be responsible for purchasing your own Clay @ $19.50 for 25 lbs also your firing fees of 5 cents per cubic inch, fees and rent are due at the beginning of each month and no later than the 10th of each month.
